NoisePoise for ChatGPT

Diagnose your business inside ChatGPT.

Add NoisePoise once as a connector in developer mode. Then ask ChatGPT in plain words, and ChatGPT calls NoisePoise to answer: is this a marketing problem or a product problem, which gate you're stuck at, and what not to spend on yet.

You'll paste this into ChatGPT in step 2. No login or API key needed today.

Why use it in ChatGPT

No new app. Your chat, our rules.

01

Where you already think

Founders already ask ChatGPT about growth. With the connector, the answer comes from NoisePoise's diagnosis rules instead of generic advice.

02

One less app

Add it once on chatgpt.com. There's no NoisePoise app to install and no dashboard to learn: the chat is the interface.

03

Honest by design

NoisePoise will tell you "don't buy marketing yet" when the signal says product. ChatGPT gets the same answer the site gives, with the reasons.

Set it up

Three steps, once.

Custom connectors run in ChatGPT's developer mode, a beta on paid plans (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu at the time of writing), set up on the web at chatgpt.com. On Business and Enterprise, an admin may need to allow it.

01

Turn on developer mode

On chatgpt.com:

  1. Click your profile, then Settings
  2. Open Apps & Connectors, then Advanced settings
  3. Switch Developer mode on

02

Paste the NoisePoise URL

  1. Back in Apps & Connectors, click Create
  2. Name: NoisePoise; MCP server URL: paste the URL from the top of this page
  3. Authentication: No authentication; tick that you trust it, then Create

ChatGPT connects from OpenAI's servers, so this must be the public URL, never a localhost one.

03

Turn it on in a chat and ask

  1. Start a new chat
  2. Click +, then More → Developer mode, and switch NoisePoise on
  3. Ask your question. Mention "NoisePoise" so ChatGPT reaches for it

All NoisePoise tools are marked read-only, so ChatGPT shouldn't need to ask before each call.

What to ask

Start with one of these.

DiagnosisUse NoisePoise to diagnose my business. We're a seed-stage B2B SaaS with about 8 customers, we want more qualified leads, and our team is two people. Is this a marketing problem or a product problem?
Your funnelUse NoisePoise to read my funnel: last 30 days 12,000 visitors, 3% signed up, 20% of those activated, 8% came back after a week. Which state am I in, and should I spend on acquisition?
Who to hireBased on that diagnosis, what kind of provider should I talk to according to NoisePoise, and what should I not hire for yet?

What it does

Today, and next.

Works today Live

  • diagnose_business: product, conversion, acquisition or "need more signal", with a don't-spend flagSame rules as the website
  • read_six_state: places your funnel numbers in states 00–05; only 04 and 05 may spend
  • list_capabilities: the provider categories and what each one solves
  • sample_provider_matches: shows how a match is explainedSample providers, clearly labelled, until the network opens

Coming next In build

  • Sign in from ChatGPT: your saved requirement and diagnosis, not just the rules
  • Your two real provider matches, with why each one fits
  • Accept, reject and message matches from the chat
  • Measured readings from your own analytics (GA4, PostHog, Meta/Google Ads read-only)

Questions

Before you connect.

Does NoisePoise see my ChatGPT conversations?

No. It only receives what ChatGPT sends when it calls a NoisePoise tool, which is the facts needed for that tool (stage, goal, funnel numbers). It doesn't see the rest of the chat.

Does it change anything in my accounts?

No. Every tool is read-only and marked that way, so ChatGPT can show it as a safe tool. Nothing is written, sent or bought.

ChatGPT didn't use NoisePoise. What now?

Check developer mode is on and NoisePoise is switched on for that chat (+ → More → Developer mode), then start the message with "Use NoisePoise to…". If the connector shows an error, remove it and add the URL again.

I don't have a paid ChatGPT plan.

Use NoisePoise on the website instead, or in Claude if your plan there allows custom connectors. The diagnosis is the same.

Prefer the website?

Same diagnosis, plus your saved requirement and provider matches as they open.
